The luxurious Royal Zambezi Lodge sits in splendour on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, on the fringes of the Lower Zambezi National Park and directly opposite the Mana Pools World Heritage Site.

The exclusive and stylishly appointed suites, spaced out along the river bank canopied by mature trees, offer private decks and stunning views of the river and wildlife. Designed with classic architectural lines and high thatched roofs, the lounge and the dining room area open onto fabulous broad wooden decks stretching over the river floodplain with its swift moving water alive with fish. The reed bed is teeming with birds and a variety of animals like hippo, buffalo and of course elephant.

On the deck, the Sausage Tree bar is constructed around an ancient tree and provides the perfect environment for sheer relaxation and taking in the magnificence of this ancient place. For a peaceful state of mind and body, the Royal Bush Spa boasts indoor and outdoor treatment areas, a refreshing plunge pool and therapeutic treatments, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush. Exciting wildlife encounters await on game drives, guided bush walks, night game drives, as well as on fishing expeditions. Cruise down the Zambezi on a river safari ending with sundowners on the water or quietly drift downstream on a relaxed canoe safari which offers a different perspective to the African safari.
