WILDLIFE SAFARIS

WILDLIFE SAFARIS

The word ‘safari’ conjures up images of fierce predators, giant herbivores and bright birds in Africa. However, those on a true wildlife safari quest will know there is so much more to experience.

Our wildlife safaris come in many shapes. What they have in common is the promise of encountering incredible wildlife, including a wealth of smaller wildlife, in unspoilt wilderness settings while residing in luxurious spaces where warm service reigns supreme.

A wildlife safari can be somewhat passive, active or adventurous. The goal is still the same: an immersive experience where game is viewed or tracked in their natural habitats. The animals you want to see will guide your choices, along with your travel preferences and bucket list experiences.

The Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo—remain popular, along with cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, crocodile, hippo and numerous antelope species. The little five to look for include the ant lion, leopard tortoise, rhinoceros beetle, elephant shrew and buffalo weaver.
