BUSANGA IS A SEASONAL ADVENTURE CAMP ON A TREE ISLAND ON THE BUSANGA PLAINS IN THE REMOTE KAFUE NATIONAL PARK, THE OLDEST AND LARGEST OF ZAMBIA’S NATIONAL PARKS.
The Busanga Plains are vast open grasslands which are largely flooded early in the season; with masses of birdlife, amazing fauna & flora, large herds of buffalo and equally impressive herds of red lechwe. Elegantly furnished tents, each with its own ensuite bathroom, are hidden amongst sycamore fig trees.As the water dries expect to see notable herds of zebra, blue wildebeest and several prides of tree climbing lions. This authentic and rustic bush camp offers game drives, boating excursions early in the season and boasts the unique opportunity to drift over the endless plains on a balloon safari.
