Little Mombo is situated in Africa’s premier game viewing area, Chief’s Island in the Moremi Game Reserve. The reserve is in the heart of the Okavango Delta, a truly astonishing Unesco World Heritage Site. This remarkable part of Botswana is home to a large number of predators and plains game. Little Mombo Camp has enchanting views of vast floodplains and indigenous trees.
Not only does the camp place you in one of Africa’s finest game viewing areas but it’s perfect for small groups with only 3 vast and luxurious tents in a truly magnificent location. Although Little Mombo is connected to its bigger sister, Mambo Camp, it is completely independent with its own dining area, lounge, firepit, boma, bar and plunge pool. Facilities include a gym, massage treatments and a comfortable main area. The three luxurious canvas rooms are spacious, stylishly furnished, and include a private lounge, sala, verandah, and outdoor showers.
On game drives enjoy sightings of huge herds of game, great predator numbers, as well as access to a hide only 20 minutes from the camp. The lodge is proud of its sustainability program and offers guests access to rhino conservation presentations and an interactive experience to learn about the four dimensions of Community, Commerce, Conservation, and Culture. Little Mambo is one of the only areas in Botswana to see black and white rhino, recently reintroduced in the area, in their natural habitat.
