Tsara Komba is an intimate eco-lodge located on Nosy Komba, one of the most stunning islands in Madagascar’s Nosy Be Archipelago. The island was once a volcano which is now covered by a magnificent primal forest, home to a large variety of trees, plants and flowers.

In keeping with preserving the unspoiled natural environment, there are no cars on Nosy Komba; and all your explorations are on foot, by dugout canoe or by boat. Consistent with this conservation ethos, for every stay at Tsara Komba, a tree is planted in the baobab nursery in your name. The lodges, nestled in a tropical garden between the forest and the beach, are beautifully constructed from traditional materials and boast a private veranda with outstanding views. The cuisine served in the restaurant is a delicious blend of eastern and western flavours. The chef makes creative use of ingredients grown in the organic garden on the premises. A wide variety of water-based activities offered include scuba-diving, snorkelling, fishing and excursions to nearby islands. Also known as ‘Lemur Island’, Nosy Komba provides the perfect setting to visit the friendly and habituated black lemurs; along with chameleons, extraordinary birds and butterflies. The pure natural wonders combined with impeccable hospitality services make Tsara Komba an experience of a lifetime.
